TV Burp Review of the Year is on Boxing Day at 6.30pm, ITV1 and the All Star Impressions Show featuring Harry is on at 9.30pm on the same day.

Web Burp – Best Of, Xmas and Special Events

In other Harry news, We Love Telly Magazine features an interview with Harry, according to their website, The Sun’s comedy columnist Tommy Holgate had a chat with Harry at the British Comedy Awards, The Knitted Character has been mentioned in Caitlin Moran’s The Times Celebrity Watch, Just Like TV discusses TV Burp and Brian Reade of The Mirror praised TV Burp at the British Comedy Award.

Also this week, Harry has performed at a special charity event at The Playhouse Whitstable with Nick Wilty and Jo Brand on Tuesday night. A special montage has been kindly provided by photographer Richard Hunt below:

Finally, Harry will be appearing with the Caterers at two performances at Putney Halfmoon. Harry will be at the venue on Tuesday 12th and Wednesday 13th January at 8pm each nights. Tickets are £12 and available from Putney Halfmoon’s website.

TV Burp to return in January 2010

TV Recordings, Avalon’s in house free ticket distributors, have released the first details on the next series of TV Burp. According to the latest details, TV Burp recordings will start on 28th January 2010, continuing into February on 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th, and finishing in March with two shows recorded on 4th and 11th, totally 7 new episodes.

  • Satire website The Spoof have said that Lucifer is to take over presenting You’ve Been Framed so that Harry can “concentrate on actually becoming funny.”
  • Harry will be making a special cameo on The All Star Impressions Show, which is on Boxing Day on ITV1. For more details, visit ITV Press Centre and Daily Star.
  • Mark Lawson of The Guardian mentioned TV Burp in his Review of the Year.
  • TV Burp has been mentioned in an article from Gary Marshall at TechCrunch on Facebook and Google privacy.
  • Ben Thompson of the Financial Times has discussed Harry and TV Burp with regards to the “kings of British comedy.”
  • Rich Pelley of The Guardian has interviewed Heston Blumenthal and asked “Are you available in case Harry Hill gets struck down with swine flu?”, with Heston replyingHe does seem to like me. I sent him a book to say thanks and he sent me a very funny letter back. We should become a double act!.”
  • Harry and family went to see Hairspray, according to a tweet from Phillip Jupitus.
  • Harry was on TalkSport with Andy and Paul on 1st, with highlights available on their Clips of the Week on itunes. Harry has also been on Front Row on Friday and The Radcliffe and Maconie Show yesterday, available on BBC iplayer on the links.
  • Chortle and British Comedy Guide have both discussed the success of TV Burp Book.
