Harry Supports Hugh’s Fish Fight

Harry Hill is supporting Hugh’s Fish Fight, which is trying to stop the huge amount of waste in the fishing industry.

On the matter, Harry has said:

My Mum always used to say to me ‘Don’t worry there are plenty more fish in the sea’ But sadly this is no longer the case. Hugh’s Fish Fight makes a lot of sense – get on board.

Harry wins at Surrey Libraries’ Childrens Book Award

Harry Hill has won the annual book award in Surrey after Tim the Tiny Horse At Large was voted their favourite.

More than 1,200 children have voted in the award and the book beat four others to the top spot. On the awards, Harry has said:

I am delighted that Tim the Tiny Horse has won the Surrey Libraries’ Children’s Book award and I have talked to Tim today and he’s thrilled too. I just hope he doesn’t get too big headed – which is pretty hard for him, being so small.

Denise Saliagopoulos, Surrey’s cabinet member for community services, commented that “the award is a great way to encourage children to read for pleasure.”
