Harry’s Nuts, Harry Hill’s Fairtrade nut brands, has hit the shelves of Oxfam branches across the UK.
The full range of nutty delights, Fairtrade extra roasted salted peanuts, salted cashews and crunchy peanut butter, are now being stocked in over 200 Oxfams, which are all of the branches with food sections.
On the range joining Oxfam, Harry Hill has said:
Great news that Oxfam will be stocking Harry’s Nuts!. We roast them for longer to make them extra tasty – so Oxfam shoppers will love them.
For Oxfam, trading direct Andrew Horton has commented:
Oxfam has learnt through years of working in developing countries, how important it is to support smallholder famers. We’ve seen time and again how helping poor farmers sell their products to new markets creates an income which will not only change their lives but those of whole communities. Fairtrade products are really popular with our shoppers, and the extra bonus is that if customers buy their Harry’s Nuts! from our shops they will also be raising funds to support Oxfam’s work fighting poverty around the world.
The nuts are also available in Waitrose, The People’s Supermarket and also Sainsbury’s, who also stock the peanut butter.
