Harry Hill has donated a piece of art to Castlefield Gallery for their fundraising auction.
As part of their fundraising efforts and under the banner of Put Your Money Where Your Eyes Are, the gallery in Manchester has secured a number of drawings, sculptures, photographs and painting from artists to display and then auction. Artist and teacher Professor Pavel Büchler of Manchester Metropolitan University will be the auctioneer, assisted by Stephen Snoddy, Director, The New Art Gallery Walsall. Plus lending his support to the auction will be CG’s special guest, author, DJ and journalist, Dave Haslam.
For the gallery, Harry has donated his piece from Not Part Of Festival’s Re-covering last year, which was Truman Capote’s novel In Cold Blood in oak with bullet holes drilled in it, with Harry’s wife Magda Archer also contributing.

The works are being exhibited until Wednesday 30th May (open Tue-Fri, 1-6pm and by appointment), with bidding online now open and the auction taking place on 30th between 6pm and 9pm. Admission is £10, which will be taken off the price paid for purchased artwork.
