Harry Hill will be doing his best Brendan from Coach Trip and will be turning tour guide in December.
He will be doing a tour of artist David Shrigley’s new exhibition, How Are You Feeling?, at the Cornerhouse. The exhibition, which runs from 6th October to 6th January 2013, will include a number of drawings, paintings, sculpture and never-seen-before live performance.
The works will attempt to provide art therapy for the visitors, with interactive work through actors providing performance based works
David will be doing a show and tell lecture on 13th October and Harry will be doing his tours on 1st December.
On the exhibition, Shrigley said:
I’m very happy to be showing at Cornerhouse. I think they are going to let me do whatever I want there. I may destroy parts of the building and re-build them in an interesting way. I will bring all my skills to the task; I may also use witchcraft. I feel a strong bond with the people from Manchester – I may have lived here in a former life. I think the people of Manchester are very exotic and interesting and I am excited to be amongst them.
Before the exhibition, there will be a 12 day residency, where the artist will create new works that respond to the Manchester gallery spaces.
The exhibition is curated by artist Mike Chavez-Dawson.
