Harry Hill has confirmed the end of TV Burp formally in an interview with The Mirror’s Mark Jefferies on his new Channel 4 show, Whatever Happened To Harry Hill?.
Discussing how the show left him and his team frazzled, the effect on their lives and schedule required to do the show, he confirmed that it will never return. Whilst saying that he could have continued if there was less episodes per year, suggesting half of the order of 16 seen over the last few year, he also commented on the change of the TV shows, many becoming jokier and harder to use as TV Burp fodder.
Also in the interview, he discussed his involvement in The X Factor Musical. As discussed previously on Harry Hill Fansite, Harry was rumoured to be writing a musical based on the talent show and confirmed this in the Radio Times last year. An interview with the BBC has also confirmed that he is working on the musical alongside TV Burp musical director Steve Brown.
Finally, Harry revealed that he has written a currently untitled movie, which has also been previously rumoured by the paper.
