Harry Hill’s interview in yesterday’s Sunday Telegraph Seven magazine has revealed more on his upcoming projects.
In a wide ranging interview, which discussed his first forays into comedy, his life after TV Burp and it being featured in the Olympics, his view on the big arenas and his family, he revealed more on The X Factor musical, his movie and future on TV.
On The X Factor Musical, Harry revealed that he thought it up after last year’s X Factor final, whilst drunk, and pitched it to Simon Cowell with Steve Brown. However, this somewhat contradicts with reports of the venture as early as September last year. With Simon liking it, they are hoping to get it into the West End in Autumn 2013 and confirms that it will be very much a TV Burp treatment of the talent monolith.
Also, he confirmed more on his movie, with the premise surrounding a roadtrip. With special guests, songs, a sick hamster and some badgers, Harry also said that he was inspired by Pee-wee’s Big Adventure.
Finally, he commented that, other than Whatever Happened To Harry Hill?, he is in no rush to return to the TV screens, saying that he is taking a gap year and a return has to be good after the success of TV Burp.
