TV Burp Writer Goes Eurovision With Twitter Takeover

TV Burp writer Dan Maier is taking over Eurovision in the UK on Twitter for this year’s finals.

He is taking over the BBC’s official Twitter, @BBCEurovision, for the two semi finals, which are tonight (Tuesday) and Thursday, as well as the big final on Saturday.

In another rounds of the bits and bobs from the world of Harry Hill, here are the latest snippets.

First up, in Sausage Time news:

Next up, Harry is currently being featured in an exhibition at Wyvern Theatre. Max Tonkin from University of Gloustershire has photographed Harry when at the venue earlier this year and others such as pantomime dame Ian Mowat and Soul Sister leading lady Emi Wokoma. Talking to This Is Wiltshire, Max said of Harry’s session:

Shooting Harry Hill was fun – I only had 10 minutes at the end of the show with him but it was good.

  • Music Education UK has put up a photo of Harry from his ukulele class for National Learn To Play Day.
  • Tom Courtney has shown off his house to Yvonne Swann for the Daily Mail, discussing Harry and their common passion, ukuleles.
  • A spoof version of Celebrity Juice with a lineup of lookalikes, including “Harry Hill” Craig Wilcock, has raised over £1000 for Comic Relief, as reported in Southport Visitor.

I Wanna Baby Star In New E4 Show

The star of Harry Hill’s single I Wanna Baby is starring in a new E4 show.

Sharon Rooney, who played the lead in the single, is staring in My Mad Fat Diary, which explores the life of 16 year old Rae and her journey after being in a psychiatric hospital.

The single was part of Harry’s Funny Times album, released back in 2010.

Harry Hill Returns To Half Moon Putney With The Caterers

Harry Hill is returning to the Half Moon in Putney for two nights at the end of the month.

Having last played at the venue in January 2010 whilst it was under threat of closure, he is returning with the Caterers for performances oin 26th and 27th April.

Harry and the seven piece band will be performing an eclectic mix of music and comedy, with previous special guests including Al Murray, Bonnie Langford and of course, Stouffer!
