Harry Hill In The Independent Radar

Harry Hill In The Independent Radar

Firstly, there have been a few new reviews of Sausage Time. Up first, Charles Hutchinson for York Press, who commented that the two dates in York weren’t full, loved the first half, but his view on the show overall was summarised by commenting “Sausage Time has ended up as a Cumberland when it was better as a chipolata.” In comparison, Julian Hall for The Stage commented that the first half ended in a whimper, with the second half having more oomph.

The Yorker’s Stephen Puddicombe said “if you’re willing to embrace the chaos then expect to laugh heartily throughout.” Next, If you have access, you can view The Times’ Dominic Maxwell review, which gives the show 4 out of 5 stars and comments that the new show, after such a large gap, was worth the wait.

Moving over to the interviews, Harry has spoken to Katherine Duncan-Jones for The Oxford Times, Chris Bond for Yorkshire Post and Nottingham Post. In other press, whilst in Liverpool, it seems Harry went off on a Beatles tour, according to Catherine Jones for Liverpool Echo, and it seems Herne Bay have taken offense to a comic remark from Harry in relation to the location in a recent article, according to Kent Online.
